One of the things we love about Boston is the variety of textures in the neighborhoods. In this city, old tree – lined streets coexist with tall, shiny skyscrapers. Here’s a photo showing the boundary between the historic neighborhood of South End and the tall spine of office buildings running from Back Bay to downtown. Boston Harbor, Logan Airport, and the Atlantic Ocean are visible in the background. We shot this from a Robinson R44 helicopter with the doors off while underway to a recent aerial photography project in Charlestown.
