Lora most recently served as administrator of the PhD Program in Virology at Harvard Medical School, and for 12 years she worked as faculty affairs manager in the MD/PhD program known as HST, the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.
In addition to her professional project management experience, Lora has a long-time interest in design. As a Hammond agent, she enjoys applying her creative instincts with her clients to help them visualize their art and furniture in new spaces. Lora currently resides in Brookline's Heath School area, where she and her husband raised their children. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wellesley College who majored in English and went on to earn a master's degree in human behavior and organizational development. She also has a strong interest in complementary medicine and has a certificate of training in homeopathy.
Karen is a REALTOR who understands buildings. She holds a Bachelors degree in Urban Planning and a Masters degree in Architecture. Before beginning her real estate practice, Karen had over 20 years of international engineering project management experience in both the private sector and NATO. Karen's experience is unique in that she has had fourteen major moves on three continents, has negotiated billion dollar construction contracts with foreign governments, has built and led international engineering teams on NATO construction projects.
